Psychological dysfunction is an inherently subjective concept to categorize. You are the only expert on how you feel. You are in charge of how you think. You can remember the kind of past you’ve had, and you can remind yourself about the repeatable reality you can have confidence in.
You don’t need a doctor to tell you that you’re fearful, or angry or whatever. The problem is that we don’t have access to the plants and herbs we used to make us feel better. Now it’s drugs made for profit. But if you eat and sleep well and something else adds to your quality of life, well, who’s the expert?
Anyone who isn’t somewhat scared or angry is clearly not listening. Those feelings are important to keep us alive. But we live to listen to the music. Put on something good.
